Full Length Submission Cover Sheet
Only full-length plays that have been presented in an Associate or Participating Production are eligible for invitation to Regional Festival.
Please note that, given the time constraints of festival, Region 2 no longer makes it a regular practice to accept full-length plays to Festival. These scripts are eligible for the national Michael Kanin awards. The playwright should indicate his or her interest in pursuing the award appropriate to the text. See Michael Kanin Awards at the national website www.KCACTF.org to determine which award your play is eligible for.
Some full-length plays may be asked to bring their full productions to Festival to be presented in an appropriate venue.
SUBMISSION: Full length entries must be submitted to Laura Smiley at firstname.lastname@example.org by November 1, 2016, even if the Associate or Participating production follows that date. Students may submit 1-2 full length plays. Each script that is submitted must be accompanied by a SUBMISSION SHEET. Please read the cover sheet carefully; it contains important submission instructions.
In order to make the evaluation process as easy as possible for our readers, we ask that scripts follow uniform formatting practices. Click SCRIPT FORMATTING for details.
Scripts are to be submitted to email@example.com. Every effort will be made to handle submissions with care. However, neither KCACTF nor Region 2 will be responsible for misdirected or lost submissions. Within one week after you submit your script, you should receive an email confirmation stating that we have received it. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact Laura Smiley at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will not begin accepting scripts until October 1, 2016. Please do not submit before this date.
