All Regional Actors Please Note:

In addition to the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Auditions, there are many opportunities for student actors at regional festival. I hope you will seek out workshops in styles or techniques not offered at your school in addition to the opportunities offered in NPP. You can audition for readings of Ten Minute Plays, One-Acts and other special developmental projects. Additionally, the Directing Institute seeks out actors to work with student directors on projects at festival.

Workshops, new play readings, directing scenes, short forms, and our new Fringe Festival will all offer outlets to performers at festival. The Ryan Auditions may bring many of you to festival but these programs will keep you coming back!

Check out the web pages for each of the areas mentioned above. The area head would be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Irene Ryan Candidates and Partners Please Note:

Please look over all the information posted in the Ryan links. The rules have changed and you need to know it. You must have rights for your material and the link will assist you in that effort. Some helpful tips on how to approach the auditions are included, as well.

For those of you considering stock auditions or graduate school, please read the URTA link. Both regional winners AND their partners will be sent right to the final round of the auditions. Don't know if you want graduate school? That's fine. The offer stands whenever you apply.

There's much to read in this area but it will be worth your time.
