Welcome all new and returning actors!

Please be aware that there are MANY opportunities available for actors at festival. In addition to the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Auditions, there are workshops to enhance your styles and techniques as well as auditions to work on New Plays or as a part of our Directing Institute - both of which result in projects presented at festival. All of this, plus our ever popular Fringe Festival: an event which morphs every year, introducing new and exciting challenges to performers. Participation in these festival events does not demand pre-selection or preparation, just the commitment to join in after you arrive at festival.

The Ryan Auditions may bring many of you to festival but these programs will keep you coming back!

Irene Ryan Candidates and Partners Please Note:

Please look over all the information posted in the Ryan links. The rules have changed in the past three years, and you need to know it. You must have rights for your material and the link will assist you in that effort. Some helpful tips on how to approach the auditions are included, as well.

For those of you considering stock auditions or graduate school, please read the URTA link. Both regional winners AND their partners will be sent right to the final round of the auditions. Don't know if you want graduate school? That's fine. The offer stands whenever you apply.

It will be worth your time to orient yourself to the process and procedures of the Irene Ryans and other acting opportunities at Festival. Read on!
